Crooked Claw Firearms Training, LLC is a Maryland based firearms training company that offers a wide range of courses for both the private citizen and law enforcement. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality firearms training available. All our instructors are highly experienced and certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA), Maryland State Police, Utah Department of Public Safety. CCFT offers a wide variety of courses including but not limited to: basic pistol, Concealed Carry, advanced pistol, tactical pistol, rifle, shotgun, and carbine.

What We Do

We offer a number of specialized courses such as Handgun Qualification License Training, Wear and Carry Permit Training, Wear and Carry Renewal Training, Multi State Concealed Firearm Permit Training, Basic Pistol Course for beginners, and private lessons.

01 Safe Gun Handling

We believe firearm education and safety is paramount. As gun owners it is our responsibility to store guns, so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons. We teach the fundamental rules of gun safety, safe gun handling, how to safely store a firearm, and good cleaning practices. We will explain the laws for transporting firearms.

Shooting Fundamentals

Each course is customized to meet the student’s individual needs and courses are appropriate for all levels of shooters, from beginners to experienced shooters. All students will master the fundamentals of shooting as they are the foundation for more advanced training. We utilize innovative technology to analyze each shooter’s mechanics and incorporate training techniques to increase speed and accuracy.

03 Defensive Training

CCFT is committed to providing our students with the most up-to-date and comprehensive firearms training available. We utilize both live fire and simulated firearms training to provide our students with the most realistic training experience possible. Our goal is to provide our students with the knowledge, skills, attitude, and defensive mindset to safely and effectively use a firearm in a self-defense situation.
